Experience
Kelly has over 25 years of experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and analysis, and financial modeling, including business valuations. She began her Remote Fractional CFO business in October of 2022 upon returning to the states from a two-year period volunteering at Cortez Dog Rescue in Baja, MX.
Prior to starting her own business, she gained 20 years of Ski Resort and Hospitality industry experience including as Vice President of Finance, Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. (Alterra Mountain Company and Intrawest Corporation), Senior Vice President of Finance, Copper Mountain Resort (Powdr Corporation) and Vice President of Operations, Copper Mountain Resort (Intrawest Corporation).
She gained her first "official" experience with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Boston, MA as an Audit Senior Accountant and then in Denver, CO as a Litigation Support Analyst after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Boston College, Carroll Scholl of Management. However, she believes her passion for all things business began at age 13 while working side by side with her dad in his Army and Navy business in Kingston, PA. Kelly holds her CPA license (currently inactive) and was a practicing CPA for 24 years.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys practicing yoga and meditation, exploring the landscape and culture of Baja, MX with her husband Ryan, and spoiling their rescue dogs, from Colorado and the Baja, Tiger and Lupita.
